Services at Colombo Airport Terminal - Sri Lanka

Colombo airport has several services and facilities available to passengers:

Shops and Duty-Free shops, lounges, cafeterias, day-rooms, showers, restaurants, child care, etc.

 

The airport has, as well:

 

Banks/Currency Exchange

There are 7 banks located in each Arrival and Departure Lobby areas. There’s another bank located in the transit area for re-exchange.

ATM’s are available in the arrival lobby area and the Departure porch.

 

Post Office

Located in the arrival hall and is open 24/7.

 

Communication

Communication counters are located in the Departure lobby area and Telephone booths are in the arrival and departure areas. There are two companies that offer mobile phone connections.

 

Passengers with special needs

Wheelchairs, lifts and disabled toilets are available to all passengers that need it. Please, before arrive to the hotel, request the service. It is recommended to do it 48 hours before arriving.

 

Medical Centre

Is is located in the arrival baggage area.

 

Pet Assistance

Passengers that want to travel with pets, please, request and obtain an authorization from the Department of Animal Production and Health (DAPH).

Transit Hotel

For passengers that need to stay at the airport there is a Transit Hotel known as “Serenediva Transit Hotel”. It is a good option for passengers that are between international flights or for others who do stopovers with early connections.
